Brief description
The heads with turncock valve for the Quick Connect 2 System provide an easily detachable, secure, and contamination-free connection between mobile chemical containers and the stationary chemical supply. The head is provided with a coding disc that must match the coding of the Quick Connect dip tube to enable a connection. The primary application of the heads with valve is for higher flow rates (compared to the heads of this series with check springs) and for media with high vapor pressure (e.g., ammonia), to avoid cavitation of the pump due to reduced pressure loss. The valve unit is designed for the modular Quick Connect Heads Version 3.X system, which allows for retroactive changes to all connections.
Product features in key points
- Head made from high-purity polyethylene, PVDF, or electrically conductive PE.
- Sealing element (shaft) made from PTFE.
- Seals made from FFKM (“Kalrez®”), FKM (“Viton®”), or EPDM (depending on application and chemicals). Shaft sealing with FEP-coated seals.
- Also suitable for gaseous and conductive chemicals
- With flare connections for medium and ventilation as standard
- Freely configurable product due to wide design spectrum (connection sizes, connection types, angled outlets, etc .
- Manufactured and tested under clean room conditions
- Wide range of accessories available
