Flare System

Flare connections have established themselves in the semiconductor industry as a safe and clean connection system. In addition to the semiconductor sector, many other industries also rely on this technology to enable simple and secure connections, especially when handling hazardous chemicals.

In our plant and equipment engineering, we have relied on this technology for over 30 years and have completed numerous projects, including supply systems made of PFA that extend for several kilometers.

The PFA tubing must be expanded (often referred to as “flared”) so that it can be securely fixed using the flare nut. This is done by heating the tubing and pressing it onto a flare mandrel to achieve plastic deformation of the tubing. The tubing can then be mounted onto the flare fitting and secured with the flare nut.

Our flare tools are a well-designed system that allows these connections to be made safely and ergonomically. They also meet the high standards required for cleanliness and robustness.

We manufacture PFA tubing according to specifications—whether straight tubes “cut to length” or coiled tubes for flexible connections.

In addition to flare nuts, we offer a wide range of flare fittings to make this connection technology usable for various applications. Besides parts made of natural PE, we stock many components in PVDF, as well as PP and HD-PE. For our customers, we also provide numerous special solutions, such as Tri-Clamp to flare adapters, inserts for valves/fittings, and more.
