Flare connections have established themselves in the semiconductor industry as a safe and clean connection system. In addition to the semiconductor sector, many other industries also rely on this technology to enable simple and secure connections, especially when handling hazardous chemicals. <\/span><\/p>\n

The PFA tubing must be expanded (often referred to as \u201cflared\u201d) so that it can be securely fixed using the flare nut. This is done by heating the tubing and pressing it onto a flare mandrel to achieve plastic deformation of the tubing. The tubing can then be mounted onto the flare fitting and secured with the flare nut. <\/p>\n
